The candidate from the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Inoyatov met with voters in Syrdarya region. Voters of districts and cities, students, public organizations, representatives of civil society institutions, deputies of local Councils, and party activists participated in the pre-election meeting.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of Syrdarya Regional Council of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the deputy of Syrdarya Regional Council of People’s Deputies, the head of the party group Sherali Mamadetsoyev and expressed gratitude to those present for their participation, and support. At the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Central Council of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the candidate’s authorized person Firdavs Sharipov gave detailed information about the candidate’s biography.

The presidential candidate gave comprehensive information about the election program, its priority areas, ideas, and initiatives.

In particular, the importance of a firm social policy in the social protection of the population was discussed.

The program puts forward specific and targeted proposals and initiatives in 9 priority areas, such as strengthening guarantees for the education of young people, a socially oriented market economy, social acceptability of goods and services, democracy based on social equality, and judicial and legal reforms.

In addition, the program proposes establishing the minimum consumer spending on each person’s daily needs at the legislative level. For this purpose, the need to develop a draft law “On the procedure for determining the minimum consumer spending” was noted.

Perspective opportunities for the socio-economic development of Syrdarya region were discussed. Attention was paid to issues related to the employment of the population, especially youth, and women, the protection of persons with disabilities, and the improvement of social infrastructure.

At the meeting, which was held in the spirit of open and sincere dialogue, the voters addressed their questions and expressed their proposals for further development of the region.

The activists who spoke at the meeting called on the people of Syrdarya to support Ulugbek Inoyatov, a candidate for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the People’s Democratic Party, and to take an active part in the elections.
