A Plenary Session of Tashkent Regional Council of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan has taken place. The activities of party organizations and deputy associations were critically analyzed at the event.
Opinions of activists and deputies about the need for strengthening activities to protect the interests of the electorate in the region, establish deputy and public control over the activities of local authorities, and improve the indicators for resolving citizens’ appeals, were heard.
The organizational issue was also considered at the plenum. Umaraliyev Akmaljon Akbaraliyevich was elected Chairman of Tashkent Regional Council of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan.
Akmaljon Umaraliyev was born in 1974 in Akhangaran district. He graduated from Tashkent State Technical University and Tashkent State University of Economics.
Mr. Umaraliyev worked as the leader of the youth wing of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Istiqbol”, the Head of Tashkent Regional Branch of the Republican Center for the Promotion of Spirituality, the Deputy Chairman of the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Workers of Metallurgical and Machine-Building Industries of Uzbekistan.
In 2015-2019, A. Umaraliyev was elected a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was a member of the faction of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan.
Since 2020, he has held the position of Deputy Hokim of Tashkent region for Youth Policy, Social Development, Spiritual and Enlightenment Work.
The Chairman of the Central Council of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Head of the party faction in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Ulugbek Inoyatov, attended the plenum and spoke about the current urgent tasks of regional party organizations and deputy associations.
