Ellikkala District Council of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, together with a party group in Ellikkala District Council of People’s Deputies, as well as with employees of Ellikkala District Medical Association, carried out the project “Protection of motherhood and childhood in the center of constant attention”.

The project aims to improve the health of the population, including women, early detection and prevention of various diseases, health improvement of women and adolescent girls, as well as improvement of the reproductive health of expectant mothers, the formation of a culture of proper nutrition, and the organization of individual counseling.

The protection of motherhood and childhood was emphasized at the event, and the elderly also gave advice and admonished the young based on their life experience.

A similar event was organized by the Qonlikul District Council of People’s Deputies of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Employees of the multidisciplinary central polyclinic of Qonlikul district conducted a medical examination of the residents of the citizens’ assembly of the village “Jana Kala”.

During the medical examination, the state of health of more than 30 women and children was studied, and the necessary conclusions and instructions were recommended. Medicines were given free of charge to women with identified diseases.
